Football Recap: Bishop Brossart Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bishop Brossart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the DeSales Colts, falling 35-7.

Cameron Bischoff produced another solid effort rushing for 80 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries, while also throwing for 187 yards and two touchdowns for DeSales. Those 80 rushing yards gave Bischoff a new career-high. DeSales also got help from Silas Jones, who showed off his sure hands for 89 receiving yards.

Bishop Brossart's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for DeSales, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Brossart will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for DeSales, they will take on Christian Academy-Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Centurions' defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so the Colts' offense will have their work cut out for them.
