Basketball Recap: Fenwick Takes a Loss

Fenwick lost a heartbreaker to New Trier when they met back in November of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Monday. The Fenwick Friars fell just short of the New Trier Trevians by a score of 49-46. The defeat continues a trend for the Friars in their matchups with the Trevians: they've now lost five in a row.

Fenwick's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for New Trier, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fenwick will square off against Willowbrook at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for New Trier, they will take on Providence Catholic in a tournament on Friday.
