Softball Recap: Notre Dame Academy's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Notre Dame Academy entered their tilt with Montachusett RVT on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Bulldogs 7-1. That's two games straight that the Rebels have won by exactly six runs.

Erin Connor made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Connor was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

In other batting news, Notre Dame Academy got a big performance out of Jamie Broderick, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Abby Spaulding was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Notre Dame Academy pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Montachusett RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
