Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northgate). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 39-0 win over the Creekside Seminoles. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Seminoles are ranked 273rd).

One reason for the win was Northgate's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. In that department, Timetria Gibson was the leader with three.

The victory made it two in a row for Northgate and bumps their season record up to 10-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.0 points over those games. As for Creekside, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Coincidentally, Northgate and Creekside will both be playing Westlake the next time they take the field. The Seminoles will head out to face the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
