RHAM had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 7-7 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They never let the East Catholic Eagles get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 4-0 victory on Tuesday.

As for East Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. The contest marked the first time this season in which they were not able to get on the board.

For East Catholic's part, Amelia Deschaine spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: RHAM beat the Eagles by a score of 4-0 later that day.
