Soccer Recap: Shanley Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Sheyenne

Shanley faced Sheyenne in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Deacons came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0. Shanley were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Sheyenne earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Shanley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-3. As for Sheyenne, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3-1.
