Medina won the last time they faced Kenmore East and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 67-56 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Medina's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Preston Woodworth led the charge by shooting 42% from the field en route to 25 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerrell Nealy, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 11 boards.

Medina smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Medina's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Medina will venture away from home to challenge Starpoint at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kenmore East, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kenmore West at 6:30 p.m. on the 19th.
