Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nyack). Everything went their way against the Irvington Bulldogs on Saturday as they made off with a 16-3 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Hawks as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Nyack's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Irvington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Nyack wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-1 victory against Ardsley on the 21st. As for Irvington, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Albertus Magnus at 11:00 a.m. on May 10.
