Hermleigh came tearing into Tuesday's game with 15 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Roby Lions 13-3. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Peyton Miller made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, Hermleigh got a massive performance out of Hailey Minton, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Minton has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Syreah Callaway was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Hermleigh pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Roby, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Coming up, Hermleigh will face off against Hawley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roby does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
