Soccer Recap: Machias Takes a Loss

Machias was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Woodland Dragons, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Woodland this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss on Monday.

Machias' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Woodland, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Machias will challenge Jonesport-Beals at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodland, they will head out to square off against Penobscot Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
