Football Recap: Providence Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Asheville Christian Academy last Friday, Providence Academy came back down to earth. Providence Academy fell 42-31 to the Franklin Christian Academy Falcons on Friday. Providence Academy was not able to make up for their loss to Franklin Christian Academy from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Although Providence Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Cole Blanton, Carter Larson, Hunt Simpson, and Roman Damron.

Providence Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Franklin Christian Academy, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence Academy will venture away from home to face off against Eagleton College & Career Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin Christian Academy, they will square off against Ezell-Harding Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Falcons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
