Soccer Recap: Hollister Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Hollister was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Everett Alvarez Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Haybalers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while the Eagles are ranked 29th).

Hollister's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Everett Alvarez, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which lines up perfectly with their 19-0 record this season.

As of now, neither Hollister nor Everett Alvarez have any future games scheduled.
