Basketball Recap: Eagle Point Comes Up Short

Eagle Point lost to Crater back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Comets, falling 68-42. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Comets are ranked 12th).

Eagle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Crater, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eagle Point will face off against rival North Eugene at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crater is set to square off against their familiar foe Churchill at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
