The Miller Falcons will challenge the Millersport Lakers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Miller is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50 points per game this season.

Miller will bounce into Monday's match after beating Fairfield Christian Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Miller sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-46 win over Fairfield Christian Academy on Friday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miller to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Doughty, who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Doughty has scored at least a third of Miller's points. Bryce Dorsey was another key player, putting up 15 points and five steals.

Millersport hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They enjoyed a cozy 62-48 victory over Ross County Christian Academy on Friday. The Lakers pushed the score to 51-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Miller's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13. As for Millersport, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.
