Zach Cartrette was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases. Chatham Charter is undefeated when Cartrette posts two or more runs, but 1-4 otherwise.
In other batting news, Chatham Charter got a massive performance out of Hunter Murphy, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Those three runs gave Murphy a new career-high.
