Football Game Preview: Larimore Polar Bears vs. Midway/Minto Mustangs

The Larimore Polar Bears will head out to square off against the Midway/Minto Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Larimore has given up an average of 46 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Larimore ended up a good deal behind Cavalier and lost 40-22. The Polar Bears haven't had much luck with the Tornadoes recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Midway/Minto took a blow against North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] on Friday, falling 50-8.

Midway/Minto's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Larimore, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-7.

Larimore strolled past Midway/Minto in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a score of 44-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Polar Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
