Football Recap: Upper Perkiomen Comes Up Short

After soaring to 41 points the game before, Upper Perkiomen was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 35-7 defeat at the hands of the Unionville Longhorns. The Indians lost against the Longhorns in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 27-21 score last time.

Logan O'Donnell threw for 37 yards on three of nine attempts. On the ground, Zach Adam rushed for 99 yards.

Upper Perkiomen's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Unionville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Perkiomen will venture away from home to face off against Pottsgrove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Unionville, they will take on Bishop Shanahan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Longhorns 11.5, the Eagles 8.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
