Baseball Recap: Harriman Blue Devils vs. Greenback Cherokees
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Harriman and Greenback had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Blue Devils lost 12-2 to the Cherokees on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Cherokees: they've now lost three in a row.
Terre' Lee made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Landon Jackson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Harriman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Greenback, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Harriman will take on Cumberland County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenback, they will face off against Cosby at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
