Football Recap: Three Forks Skates Past Sweet Grass County with Ease

Three Forks got themselves on the board against Sweet Grass County on Friday, but Sweet Grass County never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 43-0 victory over the Sheepherders. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won three matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.

Kanon Reichman was his usual excellent self, throwing for 356 yards and four touchdowns while completing 95.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 36 yards. Gavin Etchison was another key player, picking up 167 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Another reason for the win was Three Forks' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

The win made it two in a row for Three Forks and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.0 points over those games. As for Sweet Grass County, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
