Maranatha Christian barely beat San Pasqual the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Golden Eagles 3-0 on Thursday. The Eagles have beaten the Golden Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Golden Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Maranatha Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept San Pasqual between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14, 25-15.

Presley Gibson paced Maranatha Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Gibson got some help from Quinn Kaechele and her 35 assists.

Maranatha Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for San Pasqual, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
