There's no place like home for Dumas, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 43-35 victory over the Plainview Bulldogs on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Despite the loss, Plainview still got an impressive performance from Seth Mayberry, who threw for 331 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 48 yards. The Bulldogs' leading receiver Jordan Porter was Mayberry's top target yet again, picking up 111 receiving yards and one score.

Dumas' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Plainview, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Dumas will head out to take on Bushland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Demons are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Plainview, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lubbock-Cooper at 7:00 p.m. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
