Kayetano Jaimes Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Starting off the list is East Texas Homeschool Sports's Kayetano Jaimes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Thursday Jaimes made four total tackles and defended three passes, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending three passes.

East Texas Homeschool Sports' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4. Jaimes and East Texas Homeschool Sports will square off against Tyler HEAT at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Layton Francis and Co. Win Sixth in a Row

Layton Francis's big game helped extend Fort Worth THESA's winning streak to six on Friday. Johnson County Sports Association had no answer to Francis as he threw for 241 yards and six touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

On the year, Francis has thrown 22 touchdowns (and and only 2 pick) while averaging 130 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 57.29 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 95.43 rushing yards.

Frazier Came Up Big in Austin Royals Homeschool's 50-14 Win

Austin Royals HomeSchool picked up their fifth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Benjamin Frazier. Nobody could stop Frazier as he rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Frazier must have San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Frazier saw the ), he rushed for 95 yards and three touchdowns.

Westlake Academy was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Gunnar Barnard did his best to prevent it. Barnard was dynamite, rushing for 100 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Westlake Academy is 2-1 when Barnard posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Westlake Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. Barnard and Westlake Academy will head out to take on Hill County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Fort Worth THESA Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Andrew Keller

Fort Worth THESA picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Andrew Keller. Johnson County Sports Association had no answer to Keller as he picked up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch

On the season, Keller has caught 13 touchdowns while averaging 69.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had six receiving touchdowns.
