After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Half Hollow Hills East, Newfield was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the West Babylon Eagles 28-7. The Wolverines' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory got Newfield back to even at 2-2. As for West Babylon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Newfield will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Northport at 2:00 p.m. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so the Wolverines' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for West Babylon, they will challenge Centereach at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
