Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cortland). They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over the Mexico Tigers on Monday. With that win, the Purple Tigers brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.
Cal Albright was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
