Volleyball Recap: Valley Tigers vs. Ankeny Centennial Jaguars

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since August 29, 2023.

While Valley had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-18.

Ankeny Centennial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Delaney Miller, who had 15 kills, ten digs, and two aces. Miller is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season.
