Basketball Recap: Comstock Takes a Loss

Comstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 33-9 to the Centreville Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 698th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 230th).

Comstock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Centreville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

While Comstock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
