Basketball Recap: Moline Takes a Loss

Moline lost against Galesburg back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Moline Maroons took a hard 52-33 fall against the Galesburg Silver Streaks. While losing is never fun, the Maroons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Silver Streaks are ranked 27th).

Moline now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Galesburg, their record is now 18-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moline will take on East Moline United at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Galesburg, they will square off against Morton at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
