After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Bay was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Rickards Raiders 15-5. Considering the Tornadoes have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
McKenna Case was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one double. CaNylah Julius was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Bay was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rickards only posted a batting average of .188.
The win got Bay back to even at 5-5. As for Rickards, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
Coming up, Bay will head out on the road to face off against Malone at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tornadoes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 11.8 runs per game this season. As for Rickards, they will be playing at home against Leon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
