Softball Game Preview: Hitchcock Bulldogs vs. Hempstead Bobcats

Hitchcock is 0-7 against Hempstead since March of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Bulldogs will host the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hitchcock is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They lost 15-0 to East Bernard.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Hempstead faced off against Brazos on Monday. The Bobcats came up short against the Cougars, falling 15-3.

Hitchcock's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Hempstead, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
