Everett has gone 8-1 against Stanwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Seagulls will welcome the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. The last three games Everett has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Everett will bounce into Monday's game after beating Snohomish, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Seagulls won by a run and slipped past the Panthers 4-3.

Meanwhile, Stanwood faced Monroe in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Bearcats. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Addison Anderson made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Reagan Ryan was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Jordan Rancourt was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Stanwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive matchups.

Stanwood pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Everett, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
