Basketball Recap: Glen Lake Takes a Loss

After flying high against Suttons Bay last Tuesday, Glen Lake came back down to earth. The Glen Lake Lakers took a 52-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Mary Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Lakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 346th, while the Eagles are ranked 166th).

Glen Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for St. Mary, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.

Glen Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Mary Cathedral at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
