Baseball Recap: Las Lomas Finds Home Field Redemption Against Concord

There's no place like home for Las Lomas, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They skirted past the Concord Bears 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-1 on Tuesday.

Noah Sison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Las Lomas' success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 4-1 (and 4-7-1 when he doesn't).

On the hitting side, Las Lomas saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christo Georgiou, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That's the most hits Georgiou has posted since back in March.

The win got Las Lomas back to even at 8-8-1. As for Concord, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
