Volleyball Recap: Walther Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Walther Christian Academy was the 2-1 winner over Ridgewood when they last played one another back in May of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Broncos took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20.

Legend Hudson paced Walther Christian Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Hudson got some help from Kevin Gomez and his seven assists. Sebastian Rivera-Azurdia controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Walther Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ridgewood, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Walther Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Glenbard East on the 29th. As for Ridgewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Chicago Academy on the 5th.
