Volleyball Game Preview: Menno Wolves vs. Canistota Hawks

The Menno Wolves are taking a road trip to square off against the Canistota Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Menno is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since September 11th on Thursday. They came up short against Bon Homme, falling 3-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Menno was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bon Homme's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Canistota came up short against Howard on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The 3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Canistota lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 23-25, 26-24, 25-22.

Menno's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Canistota, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.

Menno was able to grind out a solid win over Canistota in their previous meeting on Saturday, winning 2-0. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
