After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dobyns-Bennett, Greeneville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Cherokee Chiefs get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Considering Greeneville have won five contests by more than four goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Greeneville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three matches. As for Cherokee, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greeneville will venture away from home to challenge Hardin Valley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cherokee, they will head out to face off against Cocke County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cherokee will be up against Cocke County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
