C1 District 3 recap September 24, 2013

Ashland-Greenwood's Bo Kitrell recorded the longest rushing play in C1 District 3 this season in his game against Fort Calhoun last week. Kitrell ran for 80 yards on the play and finished with 111 on the day as his team beat the Pioneers.

Logan View lost to Pierce 34-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Raymond Central's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ben Lodema threw for 178 yards and Sam Isaacson had 113 yards receiving. On the ground Jake Palensky contributed 257 yards. Palensky helped Raymond Central's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 49 yards.

As it stands, the Mustangs are in third, while Ashland-Greenwood is in second.
