After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McAllen, Donna North was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Juarez-Lincoln Huskies 36-34. The Chiefs haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Donna North's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Juarez-Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Donna North and Laredo LBJ will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Juarez-Lincoln will take on Cigarroa in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Huskies' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
