Foresthill came out on top against Leroy Greene Academy on Wednesday thanks in part to Waylon Gossic's efforts. Gossic turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

Coming up, Gossic and Foresthill will head out on the road to square off against Delta at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Foresthill hasn't beaten Delta recently, having gone 0-9 since April of 2021.
