Basketball Game Preview: Fort Bend Dulles Vikings vs. Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes

Fort Bend Dulles is 2-8 against Fort Bend Hightower since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Fort Bend Dulles Vikings are taking a road trip to take on the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. Fort Bend Dulles has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Saturday, Fort Bend Dulles came up short against Fort Bend Clements and fell 66-54. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 830th, while the Rangers are ranked 104th).

Meanwhile, Fort Bend Hightower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 84-68 to Fort Bend Bush. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (66), the Hurricanes still had to take the loss.

Fort Bend Hightower's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Fort Bend Dulles, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-21.

Fort Bend Dulles might still be hurting after the 78-55 loss they got from Fort Bend Hightower when the teams last played back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Fort Bend Hightower's Jarek Sasser, who went 8 for 9 on his way to 25 points.
