Baseball Recap: Silliman Institute Comes Up Short

Silliman Institute lost against Parklane Academy back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Silliman Institute Wildcats fell just short of the Parklane Academy Pioneers by a score of 3-2. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Silliman Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Parklane Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silliman Institute will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Columbia Academy at 6:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for Parklane Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Oak Forest Academy at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th.
