Softball Recap: Bigelow Find Success

On Saturday, the Bigelow Panthers were able to grind out a solid victory over the Woodlawn Bears, taking the game 8-5. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly three runs.

The win made it two in a row for Bigelow and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Woodlawn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Bigelow didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-6 victory against Mansfield on the 15th. Woodlawn has also already played their next match (against Lamar), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
