It was a good run, but Austin Royals HomeSchool unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wichita Defenders HomeSchool Defenders. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 710th in Texas, while the Defenders are ranked 165th in Kansas).

Austin Royals HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 29-26. As for Wichita Defenders HomeSchool, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.

As of now, neither Austin Royals HomeSchool nor Wichita Defenders HomeSchool have any future games scheduled.
