Piner's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Novato, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Everything came up roses for Piner against Novato in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, as the team secured a 55-7 win. In that contest, Piner amassed a halftime lead of 27-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
