Baseball Recap: McGavock Comes Up Short

McGavock lost against LaVergne back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The McGavock Raiders took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the LaVergne Wolverines. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McGavock saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Calvin, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4.

McGavock's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for LaVergne, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

While McGavock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
