Football Recap: Taylorsville Tartars vs. Mize Bulldogs
Taylorsville kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Mize Bulldogs 33-0. The Tartars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
Sage Warren was nothing short of spectacular for Mize: he rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Taylorsville will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Bay Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
