Baseball Recap: Pensacola Catholic Crusaders vs. Jay Royals
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Walton, Pensacola Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Jay Royals with a sharp 12-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Crusaders considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Parker Granse spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
