Basketball Recap: Scammon Bay Piles Up the Points Against Ignatius Beans

Scammon Bay waltzed into their game on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Ignatius Beans Strivers, posting a 78-39 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Scammon Bay was led to victory by ALBERT YUNAK and DALLAS KAGANAK. YUNAK posted 17 points, while KAGANAK scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of DANTE UTTEREYUK, who put up ten points.

Scammon Bay's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points over those games. As for Ignatius Beans, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, Scammon Bay won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Russian Mission at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Russian Mission knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Scammon Bay likes a good challenge. Ignatius Beans does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
