Volleyball Recap: St. Helena Saints vs. Cloverdale Eagles

After flying high against Clear Lake last Thursday, St. Helena came back down to earth. The Saints came up short against the Cloverdale Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Cloverdale scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-19.

St. Helena has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Cloverdale, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7.
