Basketball Recap: Matagorda Takes a Loss

Matagorda played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Moulton Bobkatz and fell 73-15. The Stingrays were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-8.

Trouder Bruening was Matagorda's leading scorer, having posted six points.

Matagorda's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Moulton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Matagorda will welcome St. Pius X at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moulton, they will square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
