Lopez entered their tilt with Mercedes on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Lopez had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 25-11, 25-22.

Lopez's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paola Solis, who had 11 kills, seven digs, and two blocks. Solis has been hot recently, having posted six or more kills the last three times she's played. Nataly Palomino was another key player, getting 24 digs.

Lopez's record now sits at 27-8. As for Mercedes, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-12.
